A fitting tribute to remember your loved one..
Funeral Ceremonies
When a loved one passes away whether expectedly or suddenly, it seems impossible to come to terms with what has happened.
There's also a funeral ceremony to arrange. Fortunately, a good Funeral Director will take care of many logistical aspects of that ceremony that probably wouldn't have occurred to you prior to your loss.
Whether your loved one is going to be cremated, or buried, it's important to make sure that the funeral ceremony itself pays a fitting tribute to your deceased relative, friend or partner.
Just as the feelings and emotions you have are personal and individual to you, so should the content of the tribute that you want to pay.
You may also find yourself in conflict regarding the religious element of the funeral. Perhaps your family didn't necessarily practice religion or have any strong beliefs either way.
As an Independent Celebrant, I am trained to produce and deliver funeral ceremonies and eulogies that are a celebration of the deceased. You can still have those familiar hymns or religious readings or, if you prefer, the service can be non-religious.
I will work with you and write a ceremony that is completely inclusive of your wishes.
We'll meet at your convenience and discuss the stories that made your loved one who they were to you; through to making sure that a favourite piece of music is included at the right time and delivering a heartfelt eulogy.
My role is to work with you to build a completely individual funeral ceremony that is a personal celebration of your loved-ones life.
There are many organisations that you can approach to help you through this difficult time, you may find it useful to speak to somebody that is used to dealing with bereavement.
This is one such organisation: http://www.cruse.org.uk/home
